A big plot of land is cleared and fenced round. Temporary shops and stall are set up. A number of roads and foot path run round and across the grounds.
Last night, I went to see the Exhibition on the Lahore Road Faisalabad. I got a ticket and entered. I saw many stall. All things could be had there cloth, shoes, toys, medicines, sweet etc. There were manufactured articles and agricultural products. The place was decorated with flowers, flags and festoons. A musical band was in attendance. There were also the cinema, the carnival, the magic show and death well. There were also merry go rounds. Children enjoyed the swing in it. At one place there was a crowd of people. A had set fire to all his clothes. I was astonished to see it. I also saw the show in the death well. A motor cyclist drove the cycle in a circle from the bottom to a height of twenty feet. It was very thrilling the life of the cyclist was in danger at every moment. At another place, I saw the working of telephone, television and telegraph. There were shops of various kinds. All of them were very neat clean. They had beautiful furniture and show cases. Beautiful painted sign boards were hug above the doors of the stalls. In short, there was great hustle and bustle. At 11 P.M. I returned home.
