A Street Quarrel

There was heavy traffic in the bazar and everybody seemed to be busy, a vendor was passing through the street shouting his wares. He had sweets and salty things in a big plate on his shoulder. All of a sudden, a young man, neatly dressed, came along his new bike at a high speed from the opposite direction. He dashed against the vendor. All the wears were scattered on the floor. The young man fell of his bike. The bike was badly damaged. When the vendor recovered the shock he caught hold of the young man by the collar. He was demanding the full price of his sweets. On the other hand the young man was blaming the vendor. He demanded the vendor to pay the cost for repairs to his cycle. First they exchanged hot words and abuses. A large number of people gathered around them. Some shopkeepers were siding with the vendor. Some of the passersby were on the side of the young man. Their encouragements brought fruit. From hot words the vendor and the young man came to blows the vendor came out to be a good boxer and the young man was soon knocked out. Anyhow, he was not ready to accept his defeat. He got up and with a new zeal, he fell upon the vendor. This time the vendor seemed to lose the ground. But some people interfered and they were separated. A respectable old man heard of them and decided that the young man was to be blamed. He was not keeping to the. He was coming at a dangerous speed. Moreover, his bike had no bell and no brakes. The young man was required to pay Rs. 500/- to the vendor and, then allowed to go. In this way the quarrel came to an end.
