Essay If I were a Millionaire

If I were a Millionaire

I am a poor man but I hope to be rich future. Shakespeare has said: “hope is the only medicine of the miserable”. This hope of becoming a millionaire sustains me. I always dream of getting very rich. I have a plan in my mind to spend my wealth. I do not love wealth for the sake of wealth. I love it because it will turn my other dreams into reality.
I would buy a good plot of land. On it I would have a house constructed. It would have two stories. My love of flowers is second to none. Therefore, a pleasure garden would be prepared at the back of the building. Flowers of my choice would be grown there. Then there would be a study. All things of luxury such as a radio, a television, a telephone and a motor care would be in my command.
I am fond of traveling abroad. With my wealth, I will be able to fulfill my desire. I would go outside the country to visit famous cities like Tehran, Paris, Venice, Rome, London, New York, Tokyo and Moscow. I would like to see all historical buildings, and beautiful scene of nature. I would travel by land, sea and air. I would meet different people with different cultures.
But I would not forget my less fortunate relatives and my country. I would give frequent help to my relatives. I would help them start independent business. I would get jobs for them. I would start new industries in rural areas. I would establish educational institution for the poor. With the co- operation of other millionaires, I would establish a work house for the beggars. In this way, my country and country- men would also progress.
