My Favorite Magazine
I am found of reading and many
magazines. But my favorite magazine is “Reader`s
Digest”. There are many things in this magazine which apple to me. It is a
good, interesting and informative magazine. It has the largest circulation in
the world. It is the favorite of all over the world.
The story-section of this magazine
is the most interesting. First-person award story is a master piece every
month. The story is selected out of thousands of stories. The writer is offered
a reward of 2500 dollars the story usually throws light on some famous novel or
book every month. This adds to our knowledge.
There are one or two articles on
international events and situations. The writers analyses the events. They give
us all the relevant information. They give their opinion but do not thrust it
on us. The reader is free to draw his conclusions. The policy of this magazine
is free and independent.
There are many other sections on
various topics. The art section contains articles on painting, sculpture and
music. They are written in a simple and easy language.” The character I like
most” is a very interesting feature of the magazine. One famous personality is
introduced every month. One page is reserved for vocabulary. Twenty words are
given and the reader is asked to guess out their meaning. The other page gives
a list of selected quotations. The cover design is always beautiful and
attractive. It is printed on very good paper. The articles are illustrated. The
type is large and easy read.
