My Subjects of Study
I am a student of third year class.
I passed the intermediate examination with science subjects. I could not obtain
good marks in them. As I, could not get admission to some Medical College. I
changed my course and took up English, history and economics as my subject of
study.
I am very fond of English language
and literature. This subject has enlarged May knowledge about the English and
England. It provides me entertainment and pleasure. When I am tired, I like to
read the poems of Keats and Shelley. Shakespeare`s dramas are a joy forever. I
myself write very delightful essays. The study of English has enriched my mind.
The second subject of my study is
history. It is no less interesting. History is, in fact, a collection of the
stories of the past. It tells me about the important events of the past. I have
an account of kings, battles and revolution. I see before my eyes the rise and
fall of nation. The study of history makes our memory strong. It teaches us
many lessons. The great deeds of great men inspire us to follow their examples.
The third subject of my study is Economics.
It is a social science and deals with”
Wealth”. It is a bit difficult. I do
not like this subject. But I have to study it because it is the most important.
Our country is a developing country. We need more and more economists. It helps
us to get employments after the B.A. examination. It is a vast subject and
requires much labor and hard work.
