Whether student should take part in politics or not is a much discussed issue. Many persons think that students should take an active part in politics. Others are of opinion that students should avoid politics. They should just attend to their duties and studies. The foremost duty of a student is to pay full attention to studies.
Should students directly take part in the politics of a country? Certainly not. First, the students of the students are neglected. They are left with no time to devote to their work. In this way, they cause a great national loss. They always think of the political ideas and views. They spoil their whole career. Secondly, the students are not fully matured. Their minds are not developed to see through political tricks. They cannot form well considered opinions. As a result, they are exploited by the politicians. Lastly, it is true that the students are future fathers. They are the builders of tomorrow. But they should not start this nation building at an early stage. It is the job of the experienced and trained members of the nation to tackle the political affairs. If they try to become leaders at this early stage, the results will not be all beneficial for the nation.
But at the same, students should not be ignorant of the political condition of their country. They are to be the leaders of the nation. They are going to be the leader of the nation. If they are ignorant, how will they run the Government? They must have knowledge of the political happenings. We may conclude that the students should not take active part in politics. However, in their spare time, they can study politics.
