A life of A Policeman
A policeman is a Well Known Public figure. He is an
important Government Servant. His life is a bed of thorns. It is full of

handsome. He usually wears militia uniform with a blue cap on his head and a
black leather belt round his waist. He is not very much educated.
The duties which a policeman performs are many. He is
respectable for maintaining law and order in the country. He has to keep an eye
on the persons of objectionable character. He safeguards the interest of the
peace loving people. He is a friend of the good citizens and a terror for the
wicked. He investigates crimes along with his Assistant Sub inspector. They produce
the law breakers before court of law. He fights against dacoits at the risk of
his own life. He has exercise baton charge on the rioters. He also controls the
traffic in cities and big towns. He also acts as watchman at night. Sometime he
has to work in the police offices and some times at the house of the offices.
So he is left with very little time to pay attention to his household affairs.
His wife is always complaining, his children usually uneducated.
In the European countries a policeman is respected very
much. But in Pakistan opinion is not good. People often complain of his bad
behavior. He threatens to challan them and accepts small bribes. He is a
servant of the public but behaves like master. Smile on his face is rare
